Radioactive Studies

This has definetly been the most productive week ever. I can't loose the rythm now, which is preety hard but I'll make an effort.

Another piece for the Mirror Project. this time I decided to experiment with full paint. The result was... interesting, but not sure if I want to trade it for usual black and white, have to think about it.

Resuming Action

I went to the National Gallery of London today (for the second time) and was so amazed by so many artists that I got a bit depressed with all the geniuses work like Caravaggio, Velásquez, Rubens... all these artists that up until now I had only seen in books were finally at my sight, it was overwhelming but at the same time wonderful and ginormously inspiring!

I also went to the British Museum but was already so tired of walking gallery corridors from 9am until 16pm that I gave up and decided to come back maybe tommorow (there's still a lot to see!)

SoI'm finally back, now with the finished design of the earlier Demon King. I only need to put some color on it. I've been busy reviewing my whole works up until now and gaining some courage to fully dedicate myself to concept art and illustration. Expect to see a lot from me from now on!

BD - Believe

Não tenho postado estes dias, não por estar parado mas tenho feito muito mais no sketchbook XD

As linhas da BD Believe já estão prontas, agora só falta aplicar os tons a azul (com os quais ainda estou a fazer uns testes) e a narração :)

Mais algum experimentalismo:

 Ainda tenho muitos estudos de perspectiva e tons para fazer, este foi um em que ainda demorei cerca de uma hora (desenho, estudo tonal e cor). Não fiquei totalmente satisfeito com o final mas paciência, é preciso muito trabalho!

Estes são concepts para o Charachter of the Week (conceptart.org). Esta semana é para desenhar o Ajudante do Agente Secreto e ainda me falta bastante trabalho. Mas amanhã provavelmente acabo.

Penso que a partir de agora estarei mais orientado para Concept Art e não tanto ilustração, por isso esperem ver mais coisas assim nos próximos tempos ;)
