Hey, so I decided to give an update to this blog and also change the design to something a bit softer.
Last week I accidentally broke my computer screen so now I'm left with this one which is much slower. I've been working on it fine though, just using a lot of patience (an awful lot of it) when it slows down or crashes. Anyway, it's better than nothing.
As an alternative I've been using a lot of ink on paper lately and actually coming up with pretty interesting things and having fun. Usually when I start a piece I'm really excited but then as I render it, the process starts to get really boring, so I'm happy that at least with these ones I can keep the zest from start to finish.
I guess that I'm always looking for the next thing, although I can see a linear flow in time in my work, I get bored easily. If something doen't excite me anymore it's just impossible for me to keep on doing it. It's like having lasagna (or your favorite food) everyday... Repetition is a norm of Change.
So yes I'll be definetly be doing more of them. The themes and reasons for these works go beyond what I'm willing to explain :P
The first one was used for the deviantArt's Autodesk Challenge, and was inspired in the underwater sceneries from the artist Loish (Lois van Baarle).
Somehow I can see a lot of my influences in this piece XD
I'll be updating more next week. Thanks for watching!
;D
